For best court availability, call the Pro Shop in advance to reserve a court. You may also book courts online at http://web.foretees.com/elmcrestcc/ or follow the link on the "HOME" page of the Elmcrest website.
Players must check in with the attendant on duty before entering the court area, and relinquish courts promptly when time is up. (Normal courtesy will allow players to complete a game). The reserved court will be forfeited if the persons reserving the court are not available for play within 10 minutes of the starting time reserved.
Singles and doubles play should be limited to 1-1/2 hours with people waiting.
All guests must be accompanied by a member and be registered before play begins. Summer tennis guest fees are $12.00 per day. Winter guest fees are $18.00 for doubles and $15.00 for singles. Ball machine rental is $9.00 per hour. Juniors who are practicing for tournaments may bring nonmembers if it is okayed by the Pro. A guest is allowed to play tennis at Elmcrest 5 times during the summer and 5 times during the winter.
Junior preference in the summer is from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Adult preference is at all other times.
If there is a question about court condition due to inclement weather, please call the Pro Shop.
Players are requested to wear appropriate tennis apparel when using the courts, as a courtesy to other players. (This does not include swimsuits, halters [excluding halter tennis dresses], cut-offs, jeans, etc.) Those players not properly attired will not be permitted to play. Men and boys are not allowed to play without shirts or sleeveless tees.
Approved tennis shoes, suitable to the surface of the courts, are to be worn by all players. (This does not include hard ripple soles or basketball shoes.) Absolutely no spikes allowed inside the gates and no jogging shoes will be permitted on the courts.
Desirable conduct will be required of all persons using the courts.
Food and beverage must be purchased on the premises. No food or beverage may be brought on to the Club grounds or premises.
All personal belongings left unattended on the patio or in the Pro Shop will be turned in to lost and found.
All members' charges for merchandise, lessons, leagues and clinics will be billed on your monthly Elmcrest statement. Call or stop by if you have questions regarding your tennis charges. Tickets are on file at the Tennis Pro Shop. We will provide make-ups for missed clinics. We prefer not to prorate; our instructors cost are fixed. Members should try to commit to good clinic attendance.
The lights will be in operation from May 1st to October 1st. They will be on a timer and will go on at dusk and turn off at 10:00 p.m. from May 15 until September 15. From May 1-15 and after September 15 they will be on a limited basis. You must call for a reservation to be guaranteed lights will be on.
Please register in Pro Shop before entering court area. A specific court must be assigned to all players. If you know you are unable to make your court reservation please call the Pro Shop as soon as possible. Courts are at a premium and sometimes we have a waiting list. A guest register is also located in the Tennis Pro Shop and members must register their guests before play commences. Tennis guest fees in the summer are $12.00 per day. All members’ charges for merchandise, lessons, leagues, etc., will be billed on your regular Elmcrest statement. Each month we will submit your total charge amount to the Club office for posting onto your account. Please feel free to call or stop by if you have questions regarding your tennis charges, as we will keep your tickets on file at the Tennis Pro Shop. Students who miss clinic times will be provided make-ups. Once students are enrolled in a clinic they are responsible for the entire clinic charge. Any exceptions need to be discussed with the Head Tennis Professional. All clinics will be billed out after the first week of attendance. Private lessons must be cancelled 24 hours ahead of time to avoid the full charge.
