Hours and Policies

Pool Season - The pool will open the Saturday of Memorial day weekend and will be closed as of Labor Day or shortly thereafter.


Hours of Operation—The hours of operation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday hours will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and may be pre-empted by special events posted or published in advance.

 

Policies
  • Three sharp whistle blasts mean immediate evacuation of both pools. (This is an emergency procedure only!)
  • An authorized guard must be on duty before any group or person may enter the pool.
  • Members and their children are requested to dispose of all wastepaper, etc. in containers, which are placed around the pool. Full cooperation of all members is of utmost importance to insure neat appearance of the pool grounds at all times.
  • Behavior that is deemed hazardous, by the pool staff, is prohibited. Disciplinary action will be handled by the Youth Activities Director and/or the Club Manager.
  • All children must pass a minimum competency-swimming test before they will be allowed to use the main pool unattended.
  • All swimmers must bring their own towels.
  • Some skin infections are contagious, especially through water. Persons with skin infections or any open cut or wound may not be permitted in the pool.
  • Running on the pool deck and pushing people into the pool will not be allowed.
  • Swimming in diving area is not allowed unless authorized by the pool staff.
  • All normal rules apply to the diving area.
  • In the interest of health and cleanliness, please keep all food, beverages, and cigarettes away from the pool (i.e., near the lounges and tables.)
  • Please do not enter the diving well by swimming under the rope dividing it from the main pool.
  • Food and beverage must be purchased on the premises. No food or beverage may be brought onto the Club grounds or premises.
  • A guard must be in the chair whenever anyone is swimming in the deep area.
  • Registration and Guest Fees:
    • All members, their children, and guests will be expected to sign in each visit at the pool desk, which will be located on the pool deck. Please sign guests in at the pool office! Registration will be required only once each day for those who leave and return. Members who fail to register themselves or their guests will be referred to the Rules and Discipline Committee.
    • Guest fees will be $9.00 ( Monday through Thursday after 5:00 p.m. guest fees will be $5.00).
    • Guest fees will be added to the member's statement; no cash payment.
    • Guests who are Linn County residents may be limited in their attendance at the discretion of the Youth Activities Director.
    • Fees will be charged for any guest in swimming apparel whether in the pool or the surrounding area.
    • The Club offers a special weekly rate for out-of-town house guests of $100.00 per family per week. This rate prevails whether the visiting family consists of one person or a dozen. Please call the business office in advance to make arrangements.
    • Grandparents may bring their grandchildren to the pool and guest fees will be waived. Guest fees will also be waived for the parents of the grandchildren provided that the parents live out of town. A grandparent must be in attendance at the pool for the fees to be waived.
    • Full-time babysitters who are at the pool as a replacement for the parent will not be charged a pool guest fee. If both the parent and babysitter are at the pool, a guest fee will be charged.
  • Music—There will be limited music on the Club PA. Personal radios or ipods will be allowed only with earphones.
  • Diving—Diving will be permitted only in the diving well.
  • Care and Supervision of Young Children—Children under the ages of nine are not to be left in the pool area without parental or guardian supervision. Children over 9 must pass a swimming test to be left alone at the pool.
