The Memorial Day Tournament is held annually on Memorial Day and is a shotgun start beginning at 8:00 a.m. The format is a four person shambles/point quota. This event is one of three holiday events both men and women enjoy participating in. Teams are formed (ABCD) by the Golf Shop. In a shambles format, all four players tee off. The team then chooses the best drive of the four. All four players play their own ball from the selected drive until they have holed out. The only exception is everyone plays their own ball on par 3's. Scoring is done by using a quota system. Each player will earn points for making a score of bogey or better. Every team will have a quota that is based off the team's total handicap. The team with the most points over their quota is the winner.
