Elmcrest vs CRCC

Elmcrest will play an interclub match versus Cedar Rapids Country Club in August each year. Opponents will be determined by matching players from each club with similar handicaps. All matches will follow traditional match play rules and the team that wins the most matches will be the winner. This is a great chance for Elmcrest members to represent our club and participate in a friendly competition against members from CRCC.

Northeast Iowa Interclub

The Northeast Iowa interclub consists of 8 clubs. The field includes Davenport C. C., Sunnyside C.C., Dubuque Golf & C.C., Geneva Golf & C.C., Hunters Ridge G.C., Thunder Hills C.C., Clinton C.C., and Elmcrest C.C. Each team will consist of 8 players and the format will be a four-ball match play. Every team will play each other once in this round robin format. At the end of the season, the 1st place team will win the traveling trophy. The dates and times for these events have yet to be determined.

BATTLE OF 380

The Battle of 380 is a home and away interclub competition between Sunnyside and Elmcrest C.C. Teams consist of 11 Elmcrest members and one professional. The format is Fourball Match Play. A match in which two play their better ball against the better ball of their opponents. All pros play as scratch and Amateurs are all handicapped. Each match has a possibility of 1 Point per win ½ point for a tie.

Elmcrest vs Mason City Country Club

This rivalry is in just it's Fourth year. 11 Elmcrest members and one pro play against 11 Mason City members and their pro. It features a unique format that involves an individual match and a team match simultaneously. Elmcrest holds the trophy and has won every year.
