Please follow all instructions when using a golf car for the protection of yourself, others and the protection of the golf course. Elmcrest Country Club is a beautifully manicured golf course and we must follow the guidance of our professional grounds crew to keep the course in great shape. Red stakes are placed in the front of all the greens. These stakes indicate where to exit the golf cars from the fairways. Please keep the golf cars at least that distance from the greens to avoid damaging the turf. Also, each golf car is equipped with two seed and soil containers. Handicapping is a way of equalizing scores of golfers of different abilities. The handicap computer is located in the golf shop. At the completion of each round, all players MUST enter their score. Ladies and juniors may have a nine or eighteen hole handicap while men must have an eighteen hole handicap. Handicaps are necessary to participate in Women's Day and other Elmcrest tournaments.
Before you post your score in the computer, make sure that you adjust your score using equitable stroke control. The golf shop staff will assist you with the equitable stroke control and computer if they are new to you. All posting of scores are the responsibility of the individual golfer and is done on the honor system.
