Elmcrest Country Club, a Nick Carter Design, is a traditional mid-western layout that has been around since the 1930’s. The golf course is known for always being in great shape with the A4 bentgrass greens, bentgrass fairways, newly renovated bunkers. The golf course has a history of providing an excellent challenge for the better player and a fun & friendly atmosphere for all players.

The Zach Johnson Story

Zach Johnson was born in Iowa City and was raised in Cedar Rapids. Zach is the oldest of the three children of current Elmcrest members, Dr. David and Julie Johnson. Zach began playing golf and developed his golf skills at Elmcrest Country Club, starting at age 10.
